Unabridged Audiobook
This is a good book to dip in and out of for daily inspiration. A lot of the content though when listened to on an audio book, is repeated quite a lot, and the list format is impossible to follow, just random numbers being called in the end.
A lot of repetition and an unusual number of numerical lists. This is not a book of essays as much as book of spiritual, self actualizing quotes. Some of these quotes or self affirmations are good. Some are trite but remain in the minority.
Nice listen. Sort of a “ smooth jazz” of a book. Wonderful narration though.
The point is that this is a series of lists, rather than real essays. Which is to say points aren't argued or linked together, but rather fired out as a series of truisms. And for a book with a highly repetitive style, it is way too long.
The narrator's voice is calm and more understandable message, but the book was complicated to understand. Too many numerical numbers.
Bravo! Brianna does it again !
This has all the answers you're looking for.
It's your run of the mill self help book. Sprinkles of stoic, mystic, and clicheish quotes. The book could be condensed to 50 quotes since much of it redundant.
Great Essays. I loved them.
This is a great book, its simple yet effective. If you're looking for a reminder of good habits and a way to relax and sit back, this book is for you.
From almost the first essay the content was useless. It reads like a men’s health or cosmo article. Not to detract from these magazines but I expected a little more depth. Essays include “10 things that socially intelligent people do” or “10 things emotionally intelligent people don’t do”.
