Summary
On stage, Adam lets his passion drive him. All his secret desires, everything nasty, dirty, and beautiful flows freely through him, for once in harmony. His soul thrives when his body moves, but only on stage. Adam’s passionate nature makes him a great dancer…and a failure at life. He’s a lonely, emotional mess. Going home with a man far out of his reach is the last thing Adam should do. Christoffer represents everything Adam isn’t: strong, independent, educated, and rich. His kind eyes, at odds with his brutish form, make Adam's knees and restraint buckle.
Once Christoffer sees Adam dancing, he’s lost. The young man is mesmerizing, otherworldly, and unpredictable. Whatever might happen between them, it will be transient, and Christoffer will most likely get hurt. The temptation is too great, however, and the sex explosive. He might as well enjoy every moment he’s given, even if it’s just one day, maybe two. If Christoffer treads carefully, Adam might stay until Monday.
Adam Only is the second book in Those Other Books series.

What a treat to listen to Roe Horvat's Adam Only performed by the spectacular John Solo. I love the emotion he brings to these characters, especially Christoffer. Mr. Solo captures the wonder Christoffer feels at Adam's acceptance, being loved and wanted for just himself. It's very moving, and lovely audio experience. If I had to pick one word to describe Roe Horvat’s novel Adam Only it would be intimate. Horvat cracks open and explores every motivation, every last secret thought, and strips these men bare. Within their interactions with each other and their private musings, nothing is withheld from us. And it’s all done in the most profound and reaffirming way. When Christoffer and Adam meet at a party they’re immediately drawn to each other. Complete opposites in every way, neither man dares to dream this could be the relationship they’ve been longing for. Well there’s nothing wrong with a night of passion, so they indulge in their incredible chemistry. What begins as honest, uninhibited sex, blossoms into the sharing of souls and starts a connection neither man can ignore. After getting a glimpse of this hedonistic couple in the first book in this standalone series I was dying to learn their story. My interest was piqued by the curious way Tyler from The Other Book describes Christoffer’s careful devotion to Adam. And it made me sad to learn the depth of abuse and neglect that resides under Adam’s flamboyant confidence. Told in alternating points of view, we get inside both men’s heads and learn their stories. For me as a reader, gleaning this insight, learning their thoughts, and understanding their reactions to each other, creates a bond with each of them… and increases the feeling of intimacy in the story. I continue to be thrilled by Roe Horvat’s poetic and insightful writing. With words too beautiful to be called dirty talk, the honesty in the way these men connect and bare themselves to each other elevates erotica to an entirely new level. What makes Adam Only so special is the wealth of emotion Mr. Horvat captures between these two men and I can’t wait to see where this series goes from here.

I liked Christoffer and Adam in The Other Book, but I love them now! There’s such a powerful, emotional bond between these two men. It was just incredible to read. This is an erotic novella, a short and very steamy read, yet the author still managed to give us an amazing couple with a love that feels epic. I was completely enchanted by the lyrical writing, so expressive and romantic, and utterly convinced by the great love that so suddenly sprang up between Christoffer and Adam. John Solo's performance is magnificent, his narration captures the scorching intimacy as well as the deep emotional connection between Christoffer and Adam. I loved the voices he did for these two wonderful characters.

Such a sweet story and so sexy. I love how the story is about consent, independence, finding yourself and your true love, not being ashamed of liking what you like, but the writing is so poetic (Roe is just fantastic!). John Solo, of whom I am a big fan, does an amazing job!
