When a masked unidentified man approaches Sherlock Holmes, he wastes no time in looking through the disguise and identifying the man as the King of Bohemia. The king has approached Holmes in the matter of a woman named Irene Adler. She claims to have evidence that shows the king in a compromising position with her, and she intends send it to the woman the king is going to marry. Sherlock Homes is the only one who can help him.
