Unabridged Audiobook
Too adhd to follow along. It’s all over the place
This narrator is awful!!!!! I guess I'm spoiled by the ones who are good. She is so bland and her voice is too thin.
It seems the love dynamics of the story follows a common trend with other books, currently. I feel like some details were left out, nearing the end. I didn’t feel I connected with the narrator’s tone & intonation.
I really enjoyed this book. Once I realized the concept, it made the book easier to understand. It ended just the way I would have wanted it to.
OMG... I said, he said, I said, he said , she said, I said ... it was repeated about 1,000 times throughout the story. It was so distracting and annoying I could never really get invested in the story. By the end I did not care what anyone SAID!
Love Megan's books and style of writing.
Loved this book
Good story. I found it a bit difficult to follow the timeline every once in awhile. But it was mostly because I was listening to an hour or so at a time. Loved the narrator! Her voice matched the character.
Look... It's an easy read. Anti climatic. It's eerie but mild. The characters are anti heros and perhaps narcissists. It's forgettable but it's also not.
I really loved this books, “All The Missing Girls” I thought it was mysterious and real descriptive. I rate this a 100,000,000 out of 10. But I do not recommend this for younger viewers. Overall It is a awesome book. Hope you read this!!!
This book was great and had lots of little hints here and there (easy to miss if you’re not paying attention) so it kept me intrigued! I did find the timeline a bit confusing, piecing together when each thing happened compared to bigger events. But I couldn’t have guessed the main twist, which definitely encouraged me to read onward! I would recommend this book to a friend! I think Megan Miranda is one to watch - if her early novels are this good, her writing will only keep getting better! I do like this narrator, and I can be picky about that at times. I believe I listened to her for Luckiest Girl Alive, too. Great inflection (and her voice changes help to know who is speaking and when!)
Good book....The story kept me intrigued and guessing who done it all they way to the end.... I did not see the twist coming at all...I enjoyed the book overall but for me the problem was that the story had so much build up and the ending felt rushed and flat... You have pay close attention to the end because if you don’t you miss who did it.
I loved this book, it was suspenseful and kept me wanting more until ... the very end and you find out what really happened. I was a little disappointed as I could see it coming!
I thought this was pretty fantastic. Very Pretty Little Liars meets some Nicholas Sparks small town. I thought the style went well with the whole idea. Worth it!
Enjoyable listen. I debated for some time over getting this book but am glad I did. Although at times confusing with the back and forth of time this did contribute to the story. I was surprised throughout thinking it was going one way only to have it go another. Would like to listen to it again to see all the clues I missed first time around.
Complicated plot with many twists. I backed up way too often in this book due to confusion. Turns out the confusion was deliberate. It's often frustrating because so much won't make sense until the end. But it all comes together-- fairly happily.
First time listening to an Audiobook. Story was a little confusing with the time, and some of the writing seemed cheesy to me, but it was entertaining and an easy listen.
I was initially unsure on the book, not having read any other books by Megan. I am glad I decided to download it! The book keeps you guessing until the very end and Megan does a great job jumping from past to present and vice versa. It also conjured memories of my youth, growing up around the woods and spending a lot of time in them and feeling there could always be something sinister within them, but at the same time being drawn to them. I look forward to Megan's next adult thriller!
Good book. Really like the ending. Great narrator.
Loved the story and really the narrator was excellent!
I thought this was a great book and I really did like the narrator. This was my first ever audio book and I wasn't sure if I could listen as I usually like holding a book and reading at my own speed. However, this story was so capturing right from the beginning. I especially like how it is told in reverse. Would definitely recommend.
Loved it! Was hooked from the start. Great for listening to in the car.
I really liked the unique style in which the book was written. Listening to it backwards (from Day 15 to Day 1) maintained, and possibly enhanced, the suspense I look for while reading this genre. My only issue was that I never felt a connection to our main character, Nic. This may have been the authors intent, but I struggled with it a little.
This was an enjoyable listen. The way the story was told, working its way backward all the way to the day Annaleise went missing was interesting. At times it was a little confusing but I had to just remind myself that the story was working backwards and at times stop to puzzle it together. Overall I enjoyed the who'dunnit theme and would recommend listening.
Great for road trips and easy to use app. I would recommend
Loved the story, great suspense, characters evolved well and naturally, easy connections made. Highly recommend!
