Fantastic book, and this narrator is the best I’ve heard yet! She does all the voices, and makes the characters come alive I’m your mind!! Would definitely read/listen to this one again, and will look for more titles read by her!!

Too long and too wordy. Written like a college writing assignment too wordy too poem -like and definitely too long.

A nicely done tale of imagination.

Imaginative, clever, thought provoking and unique. Excellent story that was so well written, I had no idea where it was going at any time. Narrator did a fantastic job. My 1st Dean Koontz book and most definitely not my last.

I hadn’t read Koontz before, won’t be in a particular hurry to listen to another. I felt that the story was a very long journey to nowhere, with people I neither liked nor disliked and when it was finally over, I was left thinking why go to all that bother for nothing. Narrator was ok but the whole thing was a big NO for me..

If and when you start with Dean Koontz it becomes a journey I am starting my tenth book and have enjoyed every one, if you enjoy your first Koontz book you will no doubt be hooked on all , well worth a listen narration was excellent too.

This book was not a total waste of time, but close. I was really surprised. It was a very convoluted story, written in a amateurish way. It almost felt like a YA novel. It is really too long and very wordy as well. I didn't understand the point of the story. I think it is an interesting concept, just not well written. The narrator did not help either.

This book was written by a master of fiction, but it was a bit difficult for me to get into the plot. In summary, it is quite readable even though it was not my favourite Dean Koontz.

This was not the usual Dean Knootz book. Enjoyably-but not my favorite.
