What a great book! I was humming & hawing about buying this book and I’m glad I did! I most certainly take the reviews on the book to heart! The reviews influence my purchases! Half the readers love this book and half the readers don’t like this book. I’m on the side of love! I enjoyed the characters and the storyline! I even shed a tear! This book is definitely worth the read!

This is the worst book. I listen to I couldn’t stand after the first two hours I couldn’t stand it. I had to just get out of it.

Stephen King should NOT narrate his own books.

I absolutely loved this book. Stephen King did a wonderful job with the narrating.

This novel is my 2nd favorite book of all time right after the Stand, it does start very slow, but just like most king books if you keep reading thru the slow mundane areas ....he delivers one hell of a story... he Def makes you feel connected to not only the main characters but even the minimal ones.

Excellent read, love the way the story plays out, and how Stephen Kings gives the read the extract spice as a narrator.

I'm a huge King fan and have read most of his work and this book is easily in my top 5. It starts slow, but what great King novel doesn't, but give it a couple chapters and you'll be hooked.

Another great novel by S. King

It's great to hear King himself narrate his own books, and he always does a great job. However, I really just didn't care for this book at all. Kind of a run of the mill ghost story. Not what I expect out of King, but if you enjoy ghost stories you'll probably like this one.

Great book! Not the first time I’ve read it, but it is the first time I’ve listened to it. I liked hearing it read by the author because the story was being heard the way the author intended as opposed to someone else putting their own touch on it. He read it well.

You’ll sympathize with Mike, have a few sleepless nights, and likely learn how to pronounce that sweet Maine signal of accordance, “ayuh.”

Good story a slow start

I found it to be a little drawn out at times and caught my self drifting. I loved the plot and how he brings his surroundings to life.

SK narration was great and I now wish that more of his audio books were narrated by him. Story ending was good, the journey was great.

One of my favorite SK books, this is my second time reading this book and I still love it! The narration is spot on too I love SK books that SK narrates!

Great listen, I have been listening to audio books for years. This one tops the cake. Thanks Stephen King for Bag of Bones and the narration as well.

I listened for an hour and waiting for it to get interesting... it never happened. I had no issue with the narration, I have heard some horrible narration before, and this does not fall under that umbrella. This book was incredibly disappointing, I hope the movie is better.
