Beautiful Bastard

What was I thinking buying this? No real story line at all…same office “non-romance” relationship, just a freaking mean boss taking advantage of a young “intelligent “ (?) assistant. This book is bordering sexual harassment, I swear not worth your time and money

I loved this book truly. Was so engrossed. That said, I felt like the beginning needed to be handled better… it really gave no context of their relationship and truly made it sound like this was an indecent power play and frankly someone taking advantage of Their power and it makes it hard to get passed that. After that I loved the ride as I understood once I let the story play out that the initial encounter displayed was not a great depiction of the bigger Picfure. So in the end I loved it, I also loved the rest of the books in the series. Narrator was amazing loved her male voices. All of it was great

I found the first couple of chapters uncomfortable to listen to because it sounded so much like sexual harassment/assault that it was actually disturbing. Very #MeToo. I eventually got over it as the story progressed and it had a lot of really good sex scenes. They should have gotten a male narrator for the male chapters though.

I enjoyed the book very much with a solid story line and the right amount of steamy sex scenes, a little humour in between completed the book for me. I look forward to reading the next one in this series. The narration was good, but would have been better to have a sexy deep voice read the viewpoint of Bennet.

After reading the Billionaire trilogy by Jessica Lemmon (which was fantastic!!), Beautiful Bastard was a disappointment. The continuous sexual scenarios left no room for any type of real story line. Lacked the humor, tenderness and sexual tension that makes a really good romantic read. Single narration became a little confusing as it was often hard to figure out who was talking.

I truly enjoyed the story. The narration was hard to get past, however. The chapters switch first-person point-of-view, but the same female does both the male and female narration. Usually books with this format use two narrators, a female and a male. This wasn't the case and it was very distracting. I recommend this story to be read as a book, but not listened to via the audiobook format.

Couldn't put this book down, I had it finished in two days. Kept me on the edge of my seat

I absolutely loved this book!! I cannot wait to read the rest. I want to know what happens to Chloe and her beautiful bastard! I like how the authors don't waste any time jumping into action.

Love it this book bought the entire series! Kept me enticed from the start!

Ogfleming: This was one of the funniest and most delightful books I have ever listened to. Have enjoyed the whole series so far, but this book is the most fun of all. The Narrator was EXCELLENT!

Great and light read! Didn't want it to end. The narrator is amazing snd I love all the books she reads! Gonna listen to next book from beautiful series.

Very good book! Can't wait to read the others...hated to see this book end...now the wait begins.
