Trippy story, unlike much I've read before. I love biopunk / sci-fi and it's hard to come by.
The story is very interesting, but it’s marred by the audio quality. Possibly, the narrator was moving as he recorded, which would result in the uneven levels throughout. I’d love to hear this title re-recorded as audiobook quality has really improved in the past 15 years since this was released, but I can’t imagine there’s demand for it, sadly.
I cannot recommend this audiobook solely for the audio quality and volume. It doesn’t play well in a car, and even at full volume on a cell phone you’re straining to hear it—and then sometimes it’s very loud! Perhaps if you’ll only listen on your headphones.
