Summary
You'd think that life would finally be dealing Mack Smith a kind hand. Living in London and with the opening of the new and improved city version of Clava Books mere days away, things appear to be settling down.

Other than the terrible nightmares about dragons, that is. Or the fact that she's being constantly tailed by a string of mages, shifters, and faeries, all of whom are constantly demanding her attention. And that's without even bringing the temptation of Corrigan, Lord Alpha of the Brethren, into the equation. Then, when a local dryad asks her for some help, things really start to fire up. There are some long, hot summer days ahead . . .

Absolutely love this series! I listened to the first book randomly and was so booked that I am now listening to book 5 and it has literally been less than 2 weeks. If you like fantasy with shifters, fairies, wizards, and every other kind of supernatural being then you will enjoy this series!

I couldn’t stop listening. The narrator is excellent and the storyline so very full of suspense. I have breezed through this audio series till the second to last in less than a week. I will try to take it slower on the last title because I can’t bare thinking of leaving Mack‘s life.

I’m going to miss this series. I’m cut on the last book. The narrator is probably one of my favorites.

Excellent balance of plot vs. passion, although there were a few inconsistencies I noticed between main character reactions to her/their picnic/etc. vs. her stated background. I was surprised/annoyed at the time, but decided it wasn’t worth docking a star from my review. Overall, well done. I’m glad to see her finally mature into her self.

The storyline was entertaining and imaginative. I laughed out loud at parts. I gave this only 3 stars as the Aubrey character literally ruined the whole thing for me. I'm not sure if that was down to the narrator or just how it was written. The narrator unfortunately sounds like a digital assistant. I really enjoyed all 5 books. Really well written. I'll definitely be following the author.

Finally she shows her feelings to be forced to push him and away... Cried at the end. But can't wait to read the next book.
