Unabridged Audiobook
I can 't say enough good things about Jim Butcher's writing and the Dresden Files books in particular. The usual fantastic combo of intrigue, action, surprises, twists, and the perfect dose of humor. I feel the narrator was BETTER in this book about not EMPHASIZING as many words in every SENTENCE. At times it seems like he is narrating in a normal manner, but at others, he still puts emphasis on WORDS for no apparent REASON. Not as annoying as the previous book, but it can still be distracting. The narrator also has a decent range of voices for the male characters, but very little variance in the female characters, and those often speak in a halting manner, as if they can't carry on a decent conversation.
I love Jim Butcher's Dresden Series. I get to inside the book every time. I can't wait to find out what adventures are in store for Harry.
Great book with lots of good twists! Definitely another masterfully read book in the Dresden files series.
I wasn't sure about this series. pleasantly surprised, the story was engrossing, with twists and turns. narrator, was made to read these books. I have been enjoying this series, though would like to have started at book one not book five. please add the first books so I can listen to this series from the start.
