Unabridged Audiobook
I absolutely love this book. Very well read.
The Pros: The story line is great. It's interesting and and I wanted to know more. I really liked the characters. The Cons: This author talks too much. I like descriptive novels as well as the next guy, and I can take books that are a little wordy. But this author goes on and on and on and on and on and on and on about everything feeling and thought about every character in the book. Honestly I can't believe it got past the editor. You can chop out 1/3 of the book and not miss a freaking thing. I almost stopped and sent it back. I don't have that kind of time and I want to enjoy myself. But I wanted to know how it ended, so I just kept hitting the button to move forward to the next track until it got to the point. You might want to avoid this author. I won't read anything by him again I'm sorry to say, because the story was really good and the writing is good, but I literally cannot get past the droning on and on.
Not Ted Dekker's best but enjoyable. The narrator has a distinct, gravely voice that adds to the antagonist's creepy persona.
