Cruel Legacy

The narrators are great! I loved this series, flew through it in about 3 days! I didn’t completely love the ending but I felt it was still good enough to warrant 5 stars. I love how Natalie clawed her way to the top and that her take down was awesome, I just wish she didn’t throw away all that bad-assness for a guy who kept choosing his awful friends over her. Still work a listen!!

Not as good as the f first two but all in all a good series.

Enjoyed the whole series

Epic conclusion to the series, Natalie wants revenge against the Upper East Siders, Penn is there to help her, all the plotting and manipulation is there, her past actions will take a toll, this story has everything a great plot, teamy and with all the angst you need. I loved the series so much, the audiobook is phenomenal, the narrators Stephen Dexter and Virginia Rose did a terrific job portraying the characters, the emotions where there, the characters mind and feelings could be heard from their voice. A must read and I recommend the audiobooks over reading it, they were phenomenal.

And the Mean Girl routine has returned with a vengeance but this time we have Nat jumping into the cat fight with claws bared instead of being an innocent bystander caught in the hairball. After the prequel and two follow up books with a pretty major cliffy-type ending… I was salivating for Cruel Legacy. I’m bummed that it didn’t quite meet what I was wanting from the conclusion. I like it just fine but it wasn’t an elevated ending like the other ones were. It didn’t knock me back with shock or aw, instead I’m left with a bit of an unhappy feeling at the end. I struggled a bit with Natalie. It seemed to be that she lost herself after the last book. (view spoiler) Penn was the best and I like the pureness that he showed during this book. So I know that first paragraph makes it seem like I didn’t like the book. On the contrary, I did, I really did. I was finished as quickly as I could. The writing is flawless. It’s just what any fans of KA Linde expect… a thorough storyline with crazy cattiness and insanely hot sex! So I found it incredibly hard to rate this book. I liked it but it didn’t satisfy my heart with the ending I got. But don’t get me wrong, it was still great. That was my dilemma. I went with 4 stars because nothing was bad, persay, I just wanted a conclusion that knocked me back like the previous books did. I don’t feel like this book reached that level. A favorite quote: "To us my love, for being lucky enough to find the love of our lives and stubborn enough to refuse to let go." The narrators, Stephen Dexter and Virginia Rose were seriously fabulous! Dexter was seriously channeling Penn. I felt it all. Penn was my absolute favorite character in this book. He seemed to have found a place for himself where he was happy with his life. Dexter did a superb job making him seem content. Rose was swimming in the rich and entitled persona! She did so good making me believe it all that there were times that I may have rolled my eyes believing the execution so perfectly! Perfect narration!
