This story was so deliciously sensual and had an amazing sexual tension that kept me on the edge with tingles most of the way... it was dramatic and full of surprises all the way till the end... so rarely do you expect major drama to unfold in the last 30 min of the book. I loved the emotion and sexuality of the book and the narrator though not my favorite does have a sensual voice that adds to the story. (reviewers that compared this writer to Kathryn Le Veque are crazy because this was sooooo much better it doesn't even compare)

Narration was terrible, barely able to listen. The storyline is ludicrous with boring annoying predictable characters.

Very redundant! Needed more plot and character development!

I like the story but I would have like more drama. I love the leading male character Richard! The narrator was just bearable as was the leading lady character.

Liked the book a lot but and the narrator did a good job except with Gwen’s voice, which was grating, and when she did the Welsh accents.

Excellent story line takes place mainly on the English/Wale’s border in the 13th century. Classic love story. I felt that the narrator did an extraordinary job with the lyrical Walsh accents and effectively switched from male to female voices Several unexpected conflicts brought more historical interest into the saga. One of the best historical romance stories that I’ve read recently. Highly recommend!

This was definitely a love hate, I was frustrated, elated, heartbroken, and mesmerized. Towards the end I thought I was going to just hate it and leave a scathing review. But as I cried the last few minutes, I began to smile. Beautiful book beautifully written, such talent. I hope there is others.

This is one of my favorite books, and I have probably read over a thousand books. The story line was believable and the history was on point. The sex was a bit steamy but not raunchy. I cannot wait to get my hands on her second book. I definitely recommend you read it.
