love this series. it moves slowly, like a good southerner should, but i like that because i enjoy spending time with the characters. charlaine has an excellent way of making the characters feel like they’re your real life friends.

I enjoyed this story. I also liked how tied in the world is with the Stackhouse series. It definitely expands the characters and gives more depth to the world they live in.

I love Charlaine Harris’ books. I can’t wait To listen to Night Shift.

Great story!!! Great narrator!!!! I love how the characters are entwined from different series!!!! The narrator did a great job in making each character their own! I can't wait for the third book!!!!

Not my type of story with vampires, ángeles and what not but the story is well written and very well narrated.

Glad I didn’t give up on this series at book one. This was better than the first book in the series. Without any spoilers on who, it was nice to have some familiar characters from the Sookie Stackhouse series. You don’t have to read book one to follow Day Shift. There is a good summary at the start of Day Shift and additional details throughout.

It was ok, a bit predictable and slow in parts.

Thoroughly enjoyed this 2nd book in the series. Ms. Harris reveals more about each character and the quirkiness and other situations are entertaining. I am looking forward to listening to the next one. Come on Audiobooks, add Night Shift to your library!!
