Unabridged Audiobook
This is a different view of the numerous 9/11 books that are out there. It's the story of how one very small Newfoundland fishing village took in and cared for the passengers and crew of a large international flight that was grounded when American airspace was closed to all aircrafts. The generosity of the village and its people is remarkable. And those travelers who were grounded learned how gererous the villagers were who didn't own much but gave their all to make the stranded travelers feel welcomed.
Wonderful story
Heartwarming. Very informative and well worth the read.
So much unrealized information. It makes me want to visit the area myself, and give thanks.
Excellent book. There was lots of detail in what happened behind the scenes that I never could have imagined. Great story about how, in the face of tragedy, there are always helpers.
Great book full of information I never knew.
