Unabridged Audiobook
Dinosaurs is a book full of philosophical inconsistencies and veiled misandry.
Not really my taste. A story about middle-aged rich Americans; absolutely nothing happens. Any anticipated drama quickly fizzles out. An easy listen but if I'd been reading it I would have donated it to charity a few chapters in
Interesting, but a little disjointed due to switching from current time to memories. Not what I expected from the title, but I liked it, especially the realization at the end.
I liked the main character and his opinions on life, people, etc resonated with me. It was interesting following his experiences with new neighbors, moving to a new state, volunteer work situations - I saw the book as a way to see those experiences through the eyes of someone different from myself. I did not relate to the author’s theme of animal extinction in the world.
