The Dwarves

Enjoyed the story, a little predictable but well written. Enjoyed the characters and thier growth in the storyline.

Great plot, but it got hard for me to following all the developing characters even after starting over previous tracks in the audiobook.

Excellent dwarven story told by a talented narrator. The quest was action filled and very descriptive. The story held the imagination.

This book is very poorly written. when compared to other books like Lord of the rings and Wheel of time this book looks like it was written by a child. My intent is not to bash or belittle. I wouldn't want anyone else to spend money on a book that is very simple and poorly written.

The beginning was a bit slow, although it did pick up near the middle and had a great end. The same goes for the narrator. At first his voice didn't sit right with me, however he grew on me and by the end I liked him. Give it a chance, it got me into it and now I am on to book 2!

Perhaps it is the fact that this is a translation, but the dialogue is a bit rigid. The plot and characters are solid but a bit derivative. I’ll still be reading the rest of the series.
