Unabridged Audiobook
Emma is not my favorite Jane Austen. It is a slow start and Emma herself can be frustrating. However, by the end I couldn't stop listening. The end of this book reveals a well developed plot and satisfying character development. The narrator was FABULOUS! No complaints there!
I adore Jane Austen and Emma is not to be passed up. This particular work cannot be outdone, thanks to its extraordinarily talented narrator, who is able to determine and portray each character’s personality with such vivacity. If Mary Jane Wells narrated the encyclopedia, I could not be stopped from listening to it. Well done!
Maybe my favorite Austen and Mary Jane Wells did a fabulous job with the narration!!! I loved the voices for Mr. Woodhouse and Miss Bates in particular.
Narrator did different voices very effectively, really bringing out the characters impressively well. I was sorry when it ended.
