Unabridged Audiobook
Great story that engages the reader right from the start. The narrator does an excellent job of making the reader feel the tension. Found myself not wanting to stop as I needed that next bit.
Good premise, linking Roswell incident to modern-day fiction. I don’t believe the timeline works for Senator Lee. If he were a general in 1947, he’d at least be 40 - even with the fast promotion rates during WWII. By approximately 2007 (present day for the book), he’d be 100 years old. Also, the Army hasn’t had a Spec-5 rank in decades. I did like the idea that a private company was running a shadow intelligence operation. That’s probably more true than we’d like to admit.
New to this author. Sounded interesting so I took a chance. Not bad at all. Left me wanting to know more, though. Lots of questions. Maybe that's the point, though, bc now I have to get the whole series to see if those questions will be answered!! Lol! We played, author. Well played.
This is not my normal genre of books, but was recommended by a friend. Once I started listening, I had a hard time stopping. Good character development and engrossing plot lines. It keeps you guessing as to what is really going on, who are the good guys and who are the bad guys, and who's going to live or die! Very well narrated.
