Unabridged Audiobook
very good book
Story kept my attention but the (British) narrator’s “southern” accent for one of the main characters was so distracting I almost couldn’t get past it.
I very much enjoyed this book, love the story around empowerment and finding oneself, which I could meet a McKenzie in real life. Well narrated and very tastefully written.
Story was ok but the narrator was god awful. She sounded bored in her monotone voice. Her American accents were horrendous. She would switch from attempting a southern accent to sounding like a NY gangster. Took me forever to get through the book. Glad I got it as a perk and didn't pay for it.
The book was ok. The accents were a bit bad for my taste
I enjoyed this by the pool on holiday, so much so that I downloaded the second book.
I didn't realise the story was going to contain so much sex & graphic detail. Wasn't sure about it at first but thoroughly enjoyed it in the end.
The story of love, lust and power. How one discovers themselves through someone else. How going through dark to see the light. It’s an amazing book, with detailed events!
Hot! Great sexy read.
I agree with the other listener. Her southern accent is atrocious. Would have been a better listen if not for that. Enjoyed the book though.
Story was okay, narrator read it like she was listing out her shopping. The terrible accents nearly made listening unbearable.
Fantastic Story & Audiobook Listen
Great book enjoyed
I am a fan of Tracie's and have read previous books by her, most notably Letters to Lincoln, so thought I knew what I was getting myself into. All I can say is wow, this is one audio book that you don't want to listen to in public or with anyone around you, especially if you are easily embarrassed. The book is very well written and the leads are very strong willed people who know what they want. It is a brilliant book which I thoroughly enjoyed and am now off to read the second one in the series.
The book was well written for the genre. If this is your thing it’s the book for you! I was a bit much for me but I will admit to the fact that this is my first time listening to a book like this vs reading it. The narrator was wonderful and to An Amartican that accent only made it MORE!!
