Unabridged Audiobook
I loved. Loved the first three books. This book had echos of embers from the first three but the tale was so round about and way too much psycho babble. And the fates of the main characters was just overwhelmingly depressing. I was so excited and relieved when I found out there was a fourth book but it was so anticlimactic and such a let down that I couldn't in good conscience recommend the entire series to anyone. I would urge the reading of the first three books and condemn the fourth, nay disavow it! The narrator's voice for Pellinore was capital!
Love Rick Yancey and Steven Boyer!!! Amazing!
Best book series I have ever read. Rick Yancey is a phenomenal writer. I never re-read books, but this series was an exception. I've read the Monstrumolgist series many times and now I have come across the audiobooks. Listening is a whole new experience. It's like I'm experiencing the story for the first time. It's breath-taking.
