Honestly, this book wouldn't be half as good if Lende wasn't such a good narrator. She has a voice that you want to listen to. She's just an excellent oral storyteller. The book itself is sweet and uplifting, and not as trite as you might think based on the summary. Lende is a down-to-earth person, and the lessons she's learned are lessons real people can apply to their lives.

Pleasant book to listen to during these lock-down days. Reminds us what is important and that there is good in everybody!, The author as narrator also added to the experience.

I really enjoyed listening to this book. Listening to the author narrate made it especially enjoyable as she read with spirit and conviction. I plan on checking out what else this author has to offer. It was heartwarming, uplifting and an important reminder to find the good in all that we can.

Cried and laughed with this book. A few things hit home as my dad was going through knee replacement surgery. (his 8th joint surgery) so its hard to think about taking the time to listen. Just made me realize I need to slow down and enjoy people a little more before they are gone. Also encouraged me to continue my education and I would just die to be able to be an obituary writer and help people celebrate their lives.

Great easy listen! Thought provoking and feel good! Great narrator too, love her voice!

A good fast read. not revolutionary, but enjoyable for a sunday afternoon.

I really enjoyed listening to this book. I loved the way it was narrated. The story is blended with many emotions. Overall mood lifter and changer. I would recommend this book strongly. It will make you laugh and cry at same time.

Great easy book to listen to. There is a moral to the book and various life lessons. It’s worth listening to and could help with those who struggle to see the good to actually do so.

Not worth the time.

I loved how sweet and uplifting this author's stories were. What really stole the show, though, is the emotion and life that comes across in her voice. Too short! It'll leave you wanting more.

I love a book that the author narrates as it is so heart felt and Heather Lende is so easy to listen to. The book itself is very bought provoking and makes you appreciate the little things a little more.

This was a lovely book with heartfelt and genuine narration by the author that serves as a reminder to seek out the divine in the mundane. People and circumstances truly are better than you may realize.

Wasn’t that impressed overall. Some of the stories got a little lost.
