Unabridged Audiobook
This is a wonderful account of the creative process involved in the making of Hamilton (the musical). Some people seem to have gotten this book mixed up with the book the musical was inspired by.
If you are a fan of Hamilton, and want to know all the work and collaboration that went into making this the phenomenon it is, you will love this. For me the best part was the end when Lin Manuel Miranda read his annotations. It's like a verbal behind the scenes, you get to be in All the rooms where it happens.
Listening was like revisiting the musical.
I want to listen to the book. Not a monument to how wonderful the creators of the play are
Thought it would be the biography of Alexander Hamilton instead of the inspirational details that went into the writing and production of the show and musical . Greatly surprised , but found it quite interesting . Look forward to seeing the play sometime soon !!
Definitely check out this book and musical loved the show so much and huge Lin-Manuel Miranda fan!!!!!! Keep it up Lin! Can't wait to see what you do next of anything!
Returned this book, did not like it after a few reads.
Great book.
Excellent book as I come from a family of big Hamilton fans! Loved the background story of how it all came together. Best part was when Miranda read his notes at the end.
Total waste of time. I should have listen to that other guy who give them a one star rate.
