Unabridged Audiobook
This was a great book about mental illness from a different point of view.
This was a really great read. There were times where I thought the book lost a bit of steam, but the ending was a a 8.5/10
great build up, kept me wanting more!
I was expecting a scary story based on the title and YouTube reviews. This book was nothing of what I expected and I am pretty disappointed with it to be honest
Expect a family drama and psychological thriller that is about the deconstruction of a family. Tragic, bleak, and with a sense of forboding through out, the story sticks with you. The biggest complaint I had was with the blogger arc. It didn't add anything for me, and was grating. Other than that, come for the atmosphere, and stay to see how it all unravels.
What the heck just happened? I forced myself to listen to the entire boring story waiting for the amazingness (according to multiple reviews) to occur. what an absolute waste of time. Definitely regret using a credit on that one.
The story is told through the sister. 8 at the time in her 20's now. she is telling the story through her blog and to a writer who is writing a book on the possession of her sister. I did not like the girl. the 8 year old old was aggravating and unbelievable. the adult was more believable but just as aggravating. Hated the character voices of the narrator.

A book I couldn't get on with. Got to chapter 4. Too much said about very little.
I listened to this a few days ago and can't stop thinking about it. It's an extremely well-written story and the source of the horror remains ambiguous in the most chilling way. Highly recommend.
Not my favorite...Don't understand why scary book have to have very nasty parts which are not significantly important to the line of the book. Parts are just painfully repetitive so had just to skip it.
Narration was good. Book itself was a little hard to follow at first, but had a good story line once you got into it.
I loved that this is written from the little sisters perspective. There was a part that made me feel very squeamish, I won't tell you which part! It's a great read to get into the fall spirit.

I was hooked from the first minute! Bit as someone already wrote - it started out stonger than it finished. Definately worth a listen/read! One of the best horror-books out right now in my opinion!
This book was very exciting and very well written and and narrator was pleasing to listen to except for the short part of the "blogger" when the narrator spoke too fast and seemed to blather on . The story kept you in suspense, enough to keep you hanging on to the very end.
I am blown away! This book is so much more than a horror story. It is also a touching tale of family, trials & tribulations, heartache & loss. Wow! It is definitely worth a listen.
Tedious at times. Starts out stronger than it finishes.
