I take in strays. It’s what I do. As the founder of the Maple Grove Animal Rescue, I am constantly on the lookout for anything or anyone who needs a little help. Well, just about anyone. Because if Steve Tripp were lying in the fetal position on the sidewalk, I’d… I’d… oh, who am I kidding? I’d help him, too.


Thirteen years ago, I was madly in love with him... until a car wreck nearly ended our lives and destroyed our love. He abandoned me when I needed him the most and I made a promise to myself that I would never ask him for anything again as long as I live.


Today, I break that promise.
