The story was decent. The narration was horrible, the distinct inhalation’s of breath were most annoying and did not add anything.

It was a good story until the very ending that I was disapointed with. The ending ruined the book for me

The Narrator's lack of breath control and swallowing, was incessant. It made this a very difficult book to listen to.

Great Book and Author!!

The book itself is ok if you can tolerate the narrator gasping for breath, swallowing and lip smacking.

Absolutely terrible mouth noises, swallowing and heavy inhales throughout the book. If I would have known the ending was going to be so terrible, I wouldn’t have fought through the listen

The story was good, didn't like the ending, had to play it back a couple times to see what I missed at the end to understand it. Feel like it ended to abruptly!

Imogen Church, usually the perfect narrator, disappointed, even marred this with her asthmatic gasping, though it may have even the fault of the producer. The story itself was laboured, long winded and I guessed th ending in the first couple of chapters, so it lacked suspense. Not her best.

In the beginning the heavy breaths of the narrator annoyed me. The more I got into the book I stopped hearing it. Great book!! I'll be listening to it again to see if I missed any clues. I normally have a book figured out in the first few chapters, this one however took me to the end.

The only reason I stuck with this book was because it was good, however, the narrators constantly having to take deep breaths was detracting.
