Unabridged Audiobook
I listened to this book after my husband died from a small, chronic subdural hematoma--NOT something people generally die from! Throughout his hospitalization, I asked MANY questions of his neurosurgeon at a top medical institution, and was often dissatisfied with the answers I received. When I saw this title, I wondered if it might shed some light on why certain things did and did not happen related to my husband's care. I found the book both easy (and enjoyable) to listen to, as well as enlightening.
As a practicing physician, I thought the title sounded fun. Unfortunately, the author sensationalizes some rather elementary mistakes, and vastly oversimplifies the real considerations in a physician's thought process. I was very disappointed.
