Georgia’s bravery reminds us that it’s never too late to become the person you want to be, and that taking chances, with your life and your heart, are always worthwhile.

The actual book was very good but I don't think Terry McMillan is good at narrating. Her voice is very monotone and almost depressing. She doesn't separate the characters as she reads so at times it was hard to tell which character was speaking. She doesn't read with punctuation so a lot if the sentences sound like run-on sentences. Again, great book but I think she should get a professional narrator.

Loved it! Sounds like she has sat in on me and my girlfriends as we share our stories. We can all relate to the characters....both male and the female ones. Makes a girl want to look up old friends...

The book was a decent listen. It started a bit slow but built up nicely. The narration was the downside to this book. It was monotone and some of the emotive feelings were lost as a result.

Not sure why I did get this book. Boring made more boring by the narrators voice.

The book was pretty good! However the narrator should have been hired in or something. Terry’s voice lacked emotions. Yes for the book no for the narrator!
