Summary
#1 WORLDWIDE BESTSELLER • Harvard professor of symbology Robert Langdon awakens in an Italian hospital, disoriented and with no recollection of the past thirty-six hours, including the origin of the macabre object hidden in his belongings.

“One hell of a good read.... As close as a book can come to a summertime cinematic blockbuster.” —USA Today

“A diverting thriller.” —Entertainment Weekly

With a relentless female assassin trailing them through Florence, he and his resourceful doctor, Sienna Brooks, are forced to flee.

Embarking on a harrowing journey, they must unravel a series of codes, which are the work of a brilliant scientist whose obsession with the end of the world is matched only by his passion for one of the most influential masterpieces ever written, Dante Alighieri's The Inferno.

Dan Brown has raised the bar yet again, combining classical Italian art, history, and literature with cutting-edge science in this captivating thriller.

I love Dan Brown as a writer; he does his research. After reading Divinci Code I traveled to Paris. I will be traveling to Italy soon. Dan Brown takes you to the place and throws you into the story.

This book is extremely well-written and enjoyable. So much so that my wife accused me of being engrossed to the point of ignoring everything around me! The narrator is excellent, the ability to speak clearly in English and easily transition to other languages was extraordinary.

Pure Dan Brown; well written and fast paced. A few loose ends, but not sure if they were me getting lost in intricacies, or they were really there

Not up to the standard of "DaVinci Code." Plot twists not credible. Did enjoy the detailed discussion of Dante and renaissance art. Narrator did an excellent job.

The usual brownian dribble. Full of clishes and no surprises.

After recently finishing the original "The Divine Comedy", this book was a perfect follow up. Although I don't agree with most of Dan Brown's opinions, this is a MUST READ if you like the real "Dante's Inferno" -V

This book, "Book" is terrible. The plot is terrible, Robert Langdon is egocentric as normal but really the whole premise is terrible. I definitely do not recommend it.

The plot is very predictable and quite similar to other Dan Brown books. This book is one time entertainment, listen once and forget. Anyway there is a place for action movies in our live. Listening to this book is just like viewing a predictable but well done action movie.

Narration was wonderful, will listen to Mr Michael again! Book was good as far as Dan Brown novels go. I wouldn't say it was my favorite but I did enjoy it. There were a few situations that I had to stop and wonder what the heck he was thinking but usually they cleared themselves up in later chapters. As usual, he had me off on my own search looking up the places he was talking about in Italy and Constantinople. Would recommend to someone looking for a fun piece of fiction.

I haven't had the pleasure of reading "Angels and Demons" and "The DaVinci Code" rather saw the films, but after reading this book I would love to read everything Dan Brown wrote. Excellent book, couldn't stop listening and the narrator was perfection.
