Unabridged Audiobook
This was my first Lulu Moore book and I had a lot of fun with it!! I thought the story was really cute and I was cheesing the whole time. Jasper was so patient with Wolfie and such a gentleman (but also super hot). A real slow burn but it worked. The narrators did amazing, I loved wolfie’s accent. Will definitely continue on with the series!! I love the found family aspect and can’t wait for cooper and Freddie’s book!
Jasper is the first book in the New York Players series by Lulu Moore, featuring a fun strangers to lovers romance for Jasper and Wolfie. He’s an NHL captain ready to find a partner, and she’s a British career woman needing a fresh start after a bad break-up. Crashing into each other changed the trajectory of both of their lives. Can two people from different countries really find a lasting connection in such a short period? Jasper and Wolfie were had a great meet cute, funny banter, and their slow burn chemistry kept me on the edge of my seat! Jasper definitely gave me golden retriever vibes when it came to her, and she was feisty and fragile at the same time. The friendships are top notch in this book, which lays the foundation for a great series! I previously read Huck (Book 5), so it was fun to go back to the beginning. I listened to the audio version narrated by Alyssa Avery & Bradley Ford, who did a great job bringing the different characters to life! They were able to convey the comedy, the chemistry, and the underlying emotions in an entertaining way. I look forward to catching up on the rest of the series!
