Unabridged Audiobook
O’Reilly’s best book yet. Great historical elements, both big and small.
This is my 4th of the Killing series and I love way Bill explores lessor known angles of history. Sometimes a little more graphic than I like, but that’s just me. 10 out of 10 for historical accuracy and content.
very good book
Love this series, love the writing and narration. Can’t stop listening.
Such a historical account...Great Great and informative... all the historical characters that we know fall into place some I didn't even know where in this era...
Great Historical view.
Great read. This should be required high school text!!!! The "killing" series is great
Great for anyone who loves history and is very easy to listen too.
I really enjoyed this book. I love history and this book puts you in the shoes of Washington, Jefferson, and Franklin. Narration is clear and enjoyable, although I do wish O'Reilly could read the whole book.
This is my first book to read or listen to by O'Reilly. . The narration is clear, with intonation by the narrator. Material in the book is amply footnoted for asides, sidebars, etc. At one point O'Reilly covers the treason by Benedict Arnold and his accomplice John Andre. And then he alludes to Nathan Hale's execution. I wish O'Reilly had covered Nathan Hale as well. The part about Andrew Jackson is also a great addition, especially since Jackson has gotten some shade in recent times. That the British were so brutal to their American cousins is shocking.
Just finished listening to Killing England; a great book. . All middle school kids should read this book. They would learn so much about the development of our country, the challenges our forefathers experienced, and what our country went through to gain independence. But, our schools won't allow this suggestion because of the liberal attitudes towards Bill O'Reilly.
