This is a great story…..lots of twists and turns which keep me interested. However, I have no idea what is the nationality of the narrator but she really should have had some English pronunciation lesions before attempting to read this. It was really distracting trying to work out what some of the words were which she was saying. Thank goodness the storyline kept me listening.

Good story once you get used to the mispronounced words.

Interesting fluency of narrator. Some wild errors of pronunciation. But it is an energetic narration!

Another great book by Wilkie Collins. The story is filled with complex and interesting characters with a heroine who is determined, spunky and smart. There is some outmoded language related to disabilities but it is a product of its time. It almost doesn’t matter who the villain is; the story makes you want to stay and linger.

excellent story like all Wilkie Collins. a strong female lead, who I quite liked. I hope you enjoy it as much as me the narrator was a bit difficult to follow because her pronunciation of a few words was difficult but nothing that would warrent abandoning the book

The book was great .. however the narration was terrible. It was hard to follow .. the narrator changed with every chapter. I did not like this at all.
