Unabridged Audiobook
Great book with a fantastic story. I personally found the narration sub-par, due to a terrible impersonation of the Indian accent
I thought this book was fascinating and surprisingly humorous in tone. And the narrator was absolutely tremendous. As for his "terrible impersonation," Lyndam Gregory was born in India to an Indian mother and British father. I suppose that does not ensure his accent is authentic, but it sure seems likely. Characters in the story - including the protagonist - do express prejudiced views of other peoples, and it's impossible to know if these are also the views of the author. Either way, I regret that I can't judge how some listeners might feel.
I just can't listen to this one. I know everyone else gave it great reviews, but I find it extremely boring. It may be due to the narrator.
Hard to follow at first but by the end it was obviously a masterpiece
