Julien and Marilyn meet at a bar one night and are immediately drawn to each other. They end up spending the night together and the next morning, Marilyn leaves without a word. Later on, they find out that Marilyn is actually one of the contestants of a baking competition that Julien is one of the judges for. This causes some tension as Marilyn doesn't want had outs, and doesn't want everyone thinking she got where she is by sleeping with the boss. She still ends up being hired based on her skill and their romance begins. Unfortunately, just like the first book in the series, this did not work for me for pretty much the same reasons. The plot moved way too fast and the characters were not for me. The mmc is too possessive (and not in an endearing way). And I'm kind of over the virginal fmc stereotype tbh. The narrators Hector Carrillo and Marie Hawkins did amazing though. So there that positive!

We all know how this is going to end This was an instant attraction, she is all mine, over the top grunty alpha male, high heat, sweet romance - Multiple narrators who did a superb job of bringing the cast to life

Got the chance to listen to the audiobook and this was really a treat. ❤️ Both narrators were doing a great job and this audiobook is perfect if you like shorter stories to listen to. Marilyn is a baker fresh out of culinary school and participates in a bake off to find an employer. She meets a night before in a bar Julien. He is instantly obsessed and just knows that she is the woman he waited his whole life for. Sparks fly and their connection is instant... Guess who is a potential employer/employee the next day

Book 2 in this series of books and another insta love story from C.M Steele. This book is Jack Shaw's sisters quickie romance Marilyn Shaw,she has just graduated from culinary school and is out with her friends celebrating...She becomes transfixed with a sexy man sitting across the room from her and he seems enamoured with her too..They spend a very passionate night together were he declares his intentions to Marilyn,that he wants her to be his forever.Marilyn is not opposed to this idea but she has a competition to compete in so she can work in one of the countries top restaurants. Julien Never falls in love in fact he hates people but Marilyn captivates him from the very first time he set eyes on her,but after their steamy night together she disappears. But to his surprise he sees her again that day trying to compete to get position in the restaurant he owns,he gives her the job straight away.Marilyn cannot believe her dream man is a famous chef and wants her by his side to bake along with him...Not only do they make a good team creating delicious desserts they also cook up a storm in the bedroom. Julien is totally Alpha and possessive a dirty talker that had me blushing with his outrageous demands..lol..Narration was brilliant by Marie Hawkins and Hector Carrillo,they honestly did a fantastic job bringing these characters to life and making this story so interesting and animated.They are very talented I loved their performance. Julien and Marilyn are insatiable and in love but there is an outside threat to their union someone is out to get Julien and so there is a bit of mystery to this story.We also have cameo appearances from Jack and Petra too which was great. An enjoyable erotic story with a bit of Daddy kink in there too,a marvellous listen.

Marilyn is determined to forge her own path as a pastry chef so decides to enter a competition where employers are looking for new bakers. The night before the competition she meets a sexy stranger and she spends a steamy evening with him never expecting to see him again until he appears at the competition and offers her a job. Julien is a successful businessman who is at the competition looking for a baker but wants so much more when he sees Marilyn. He didn’t know that she would be one of the competitors but once he sees her there he is determined to claim her as his own both personally and professionally. I enjoyed the performance of the narrators as they brought out all the heat and heart of this story.

This is similar to My Pet except it’s Jack’s sister. She has graduated culinary school and going on a bake off. She meets Jules owner of the restaurant she is competing to work for. He has other ideas the moment he sees her. It’s another lust/Love at first sight and erotic story. I love the dual narration. Both narrators are very good and play off each other well.

C.M. Steele is a relatively new author to me, and I found this an interesting listen. We met Marilyn Shaw in the previous book as she was the sister of the hero. She is sassy and feisty and someone who likes to stir up trouble and be mischievous. If you are looking for an instant love story which is not a long listen, then this is the book for you. Julien, a respected pastry chef wants Marilyn with a passion he cannot contain. However, everyone thinks she got the job by sleeping with Julien. He is almost as over the top as her brother. Julien is possessive and determined to make Marilyn his and it was entertaining to watch their story play out. The narration by Marie Hawkins and Hector Carrillo who are both new to me and were easy to listen to.
