Unabridged Audiobook
Masters makes an excellent universe and fills it with wonderful characters. I’ve enjoyed her work greatly. This was my first audiobook from the series. It translates fairly well to audio, but unfortunately I think the narrator made some unfortunate accent choices that hinder his performance greatly.
The first book of this series was written strictly from Sam's perspective. This bothered me because I wanted to get to know Gideon better, and I wanted to see their relationship develop from both perspectives. In this book, I get both my wishes granted. The relationship between Andrew and Noah unfolds from both perspectives and I got a little more insight into Gideon's character. Once again the world building was interesting, and the narration was well performed.
