Unabridged Audiobook
Good intrigue but a little “preachy”.
Good reading/listening, until the end, when there was a bit too much proselytizing. That took away from the a light thriller and an engaging narrative.
Good entertaining story that incorporates some new types of weapons, but overall a bit predictable.
Great story, great witness
Entertaining book
Awesome! Really enjoyed listening to this book.
Very enjoyable and engaging story. Found the weaving-in of Christian belief in Jesus as personal Savior a bit startling at first. But appreciated the forthright explanation of Christianity by the end. While unexpected in a book of fiction, I agree with the authors (comments at end) that it actually adds realism to include every human's struggles with understanding God, especially in times of stress and coping with life.
Good book but the story dragged on for too long
Excellent! Both book and narrator did a wonderful job.
The story was engaging and very believable. Great weaving in a romance that is also probable. The narrator really caught the tone, however, having lived in the Middle East for many years his pronunciation of names and places was frustratingly inaccurate. The weaving in of religion towards the end was also very distracting, forced and not necessary to the plot. Hope the authors take this into account, because I’d love to continue with the Nir Tabor stories.
Wonderful story with wonderful character development. Very much enjoyed the narrator. However, the religious overtures were a bit much. It is totally unnecessary for the story. In fact, it detracts from the story. Given this, I will not continue with this particular author.
Love this book, very well written and spoken, there was many emotions that the story created in me. Highly recommend it!
Amazing book for young adults!!
good action story. . . until you add the Christian religion BS, which has nothing to do with the story. . . it just doesn't flow, nor make any sense. You want to write a Christian conversion story, then do that. . . don't hide it in an action thriller.
I was thoroughly entertained. Amir being in the Israeli Defense Forces brought a lot of authenticity to the read. With all the gunfire descriptions, I even learned the name of a few weapons and will never look at a drone the same again. I liked that Amir and Steven added a little bit of romance to relieve the tension from all the espionage, gunfire, and political aspects. Really enjoyed the narrators’ different accents. That had to be difficult. Well done!
