Unabridged Audiobook
I’ve never read a book by this author but after listening to Part of Your World, I’ve ordered a couple of hers to start. The narration was so powerful, I actually stayed awake last night to finish it (took a nap after work-lol). Will definitely re-listen in the future.
Loved it! Great listen, loved all of the town community!
Entertaining read
Predictable but cute!
This was a wonderful book. The narrators are great!
LOVED IT!!!!
Abby’s books never disappoint. I want to visit Grant House and hang out with all the characters. I love how she always ties in characters from her other books to continue to tell their stories in such a beautiful way.
Really great story. The narration was fabulous. I had never read/listened to Abby Jimenez and she is a great writer. However, I hated all the swearing and the part about d#%* pics. I little too juvenile in my opinion. I think it could have been just as good with so many swear words.
Abby Jimenez has become one of my favorite authors. This book did not disappoint. I enjoy all her details. You are able to picture the story perfectly. She’s funny where i actually laugh out loud, and I cried too. I can’t wait to read another one of her books.
Love this book!
These narrators are incredible and always are. I kind of wish more were as talented as them because many of my books have them too. The book itself is super cute, fun but I found myself being a little defensive of Daniel and insulted that she couldn’t acknowledge him as someone she’s proud of. It was predictable but just what I want out of a chick-lit romantic, story.
I can’t get enough of Abby Jimenez! Love her books and this one didn’t disappoint! I laughed, cried and fell in love with her characters. 5 stars
Great rom-com with great characters. Love this new to me author!
You did it again! Hurry and write more!! Loved everyone of your books!! Thank you for sharing.
This story was so boring. The female character was just so infuriating. The female narrator is one of my favorites, I would have DNF'd this book if it wasn't for her. The male narrator just seemed like he hated reading this story. He was blah through out the whole story.
did the book remind me of Aladdin? Yes. And I love that about it! But honestly the story fell short with our main character Alexis. She was sooooooo blind to see the solution to her problems, I honestly rolled my eyes several times listening to her. So many people in her life (her brother, Daniel, her best friend) were living life on their terms and she couldn’t see that she could do the same and just be happy. While I understand the past trauma she was struggling to overcome I would have preferred to read about her living happy while juggling the other people around her instead of her being miserable 99% of the book.
I absolutely love this book and the narrators. I laughed, I cried, I was angry, and I was happy! The narrators really fit what I would imagine the characters would be like. I highly recommend this book! I couldn’t stop listening to it. Finished it in one day lol
Abby always has the most perfect people to narrate her books. Their performances make you laugh out loud, swoon, get teary, and rejoice with their ending. I could listen to them narrate all day long!
I wish I could add at least 10 more stars to this rating. I absolutely LOVED the story and the narrators. Eager to read/listen to more by this author.
Such a cute story. Loved both narrators. Great storyline, will definitely be reading more of Abby Jimenez books.
Excellent love story and character growth. Two things to know: 1) This may trigger you if you’ve been in an abusive relationship. But I’m glad I listened to it and that this book is out there to expose emotional abuse especially. There’s nothing super graphic, but if you’ve been thru this, expect some sympathetic anxiety. 2) There is almost no on the page sex, though sex is talked about a lot. You may consider that a negative or a positive depending on your taste. The narration was excellent by both the male and female narrators. Julia Whelan is fabulous as always. I highly recommend this book!
