It’s been a while since I’ve encountered a weak main character and I loved it. Every time she cried I would laugh because I wanted to cry with her or would imagine myself in her spot having the same issues. I connected a lot with this character because the entire time I was comparing her to myself. I also really love Ixiana name, I think that if I ever end up having a girl I’ll name her Ixiana. Ixiana character does change through out the story and the love chemistry between her and the warlord grows from enemies to soulmates. I absolutely recommend this story. Lulu Russell did a fantastic job narrating this story.
