Unabridged Audiobook
The story was enjoyable and cute, with the brilliant narration bringing it to life. The narrator managed to navigate the different characters and the different genders seamlessly without resorting to annoying voices, instead relying on plausible accents and different characteristics to differentiate. Thoroughly entertaining listen.
Legitimately one of the best books I’ve listened to. There is a huge need for excellent lgbtq romance fiction and this is a standout representation that everyone needs to read.
Good reader, but he keeps mispronouncing “Bowie” and a few other words and it drives me bonkers.
I loved this book. The characters are so loveable and hysterical. I’ve listened to it and read it cause I love it so much. Worth the read
Amazing narrator. Love this book so much! I listen over and over.
Absolutely adorable! I throw this on when I'm at the gym and it always puts a smile on of face.
Such a great read
I love this story so much. And the narrator was awesome! My only. It’s is that he mispronounces Bowie and i does a little inside but whatever he was so great at the voices there were so many characters idk how he managed to do all of those voices.
I finished and repeated, twice in one week. What a great escape. I will definitely watch the screen adaptation too. :)
This story is so cheesy, it makes me cringe. The story is sub par and uses a lot of political references from current times which makes it a weird combination of fiction and non fiction events. It was a long and drawn out story that could have been told in half the words.
Such a beautiful book, had me crying when it ended.
The book is so beautifully written and i love the modernness of it! The author also does voices for all the different people and knows how to wait for comedic timing and punch lines. Outstanding
very enjoyable, a very believable story,
great story
The perfect balance of funny, romantic, and heartwarming! I’ve come back to read it many times! Definitely a favorite!
Fun and exciting, good writing and narration
Very emotional book. Love how well they captured the tension within the royal family and diversity. Very similar to the show Young Royals! Lovely story.
This book is amazing and so adorable. 10/10 would recommend.
The book is great. I really struggled with the narrator’s affect and delivery.
What a beautiful story about being true to yourself, the bonds of family and of course, love. I couldn’t stop listening and definitely didn’t want the story to end.
Honestly this just became my favorite book. I’m in love with it
I enjoyed it very much. His voice was very nice to listen too.
mindless but fun
I literally can’t say enough how much I utterly loved this book. I find myself just thinking about these characters constantly. The chemistry. The development. The boldness. THE STEAM.
An amazing narration, pacing up and slowing down at the right places, with the perfect amount of emotions put into the reading. But heavy on the English accent, but that might just be personal taste. The book is witty, surprisingly informative and overall really hard to put down. The background story is so vast that the between plot could have gone anywhere.
It did not feel like a debut novel at all, Casey McQuiston’s writing style is amazing and very rich. It’s quite entertaining, as are the majority of stories that feature love-hate relationships and I was rooting for Alex and Henry to have a happily-ever-after the whole time. I cannot recommend this novel enough, it's going to make you cry, laugh and believe in true love. This book is heart-warming and definitely unforgettable and believe me when I say that this novel will stay in your hearts forever. It feels as though the whole book world is talking about this book right now, so naturally I needed to find out what was so special about it.
The world needs more books like this one.
I honestly don’t care about what people say about this audiobook. I think the narrator did a marvelous job. Henry and Alex is super cute and I need a sequel ASAP
The story fails to use the background setting to its advantage. Surely, there’s lots of material to be used when The Royal family is involved. At times, the dialogue makes me cringe. The narrator was good.
Amazing. My only complaint is that the chapters are structured weirdly but the writing is so good I don’t really care. So cute and fun.
