What happens when America's First Son falls in love with the Prince of Wales?

When his mother became President, Alex Claremont-Diaz was promptly cast as the American equivalent of a young royal. Handsome, charismatic, genius—his image is pure millennial-marketing gold for the White House. There's only one problem: Alex has a beef with the actual prince, Henry, across the pond. And when the tabloids get hold of a photo involving an Alex-Henry altercation, U.S./British relations take a turn for the worse.

Heads of family, state, and other handlers devise a plan for damage control: staging a truce between the two rivals. What at first begins as a fake, Instragramable friendship grows deeper, and more dangerous, than either Alex or Henry could have imagined. Soon Alex finds himself hurtling into a secret romance with a surprisingly unstuffy Henry that could derail the campaign and upend two nations and begs the question: Can love save the world after all? Where do we find the courage, and the power, to be the people we are meant to be? And how can we learn to let our true colors shine through? Casey McQuiston's Red, White & Royal Blue proves: true love isn't always diplomatic.

Praise for Red, White & Royal Blue:

“Effervescent and empowering on all levels, Red, White & Royal Blue is both a well-written love story and a celebration of identity.” — NPR

'I took this with me wherever I went and stole every second I had to read! Absorbing, hilarious, tender, sexy—this book had everything I crave. I’m jealous of all the readers out there who still get to experience Red, White & Royal Blue for the first time!' - Christina Lauren, New York Times bestselling author of Love and Other Words and Roomies

'Red, White & Royal Blue is outrageously fun. It is romantic, sexy, witty, and thrilling. I loved every second.' - Taylor Jenkins Reid, author of The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo and Maybe in Another Life

The story was enjoyable and cute, with the brilliant narration bringing it to life. The narrator managed to navigate the different characters and the different genders seamlessly without resorting to annoying voices, instead relying on plausible accents and different characteristics to differentiate. Thoroughly entertaining listen.

Legitimately one of the best books I’ve listened to. There is a huge need for excellent lgbtq romance fiction and this is a standout representation that everyone needs to read.

Good reader, but he keeps mispronouncing “Bowie” and a few other words and it drives me bonkers.

I love this story so much. And the narrator was awesome! My only. It’s is that he mispronounces Bowie and i does a little inside but whatever he was so great at the voices there were so many characters idk how he managed to do all of those voices.

I finished and repeated, twice in one week. What a great escape. I will definitely watch the screen adaptation too. :)

This story is so cheesy, it makes me cringe. The story is sub par and uses a lot of political references from current times which makes it a weird combination of fiction and non fiction events. It was a long and drawn out story that could have been told in half the words.

The book is so beautifully written and i love the modernness of it! The author also does voices for all the different people and knows how to wait for comedic timing and punch lines. Outstanding

Very emotional book. Love how well they captured the tension within the royal family and diversity. Very similar to the show Young Royals! Lovely story.

I literally can’t say enough how much I utterly loved this book. I find myself just thinking about these characters constantly. The chemistry. The development. The boldness. THE STEAM.

An amazing narration, pacing up and slowing down at the right places, with the perfect amount of emotions put into the reading. But heavy on the English accent, but that might just be personal taste. The book is witty, surprisingly informative and overall really hard to put down. The background story is so vast that the between plot could have gone anywhere.

It did not feel like a debut novel at all, Casey McQuiston’s writing style is amazing and very rich. It’s quite entertaining, as are the majority of stories that feature love-hate relationships and I was rooting for Alex and Henry to have a happily-ever-after the whole time. I cannot recommend this novel enough, it's going to make you cry, laugh and believe in true love. This book is heart-warming and definitely unforgettable and believe me when I say that this novel will stay in your hearts forever. It feels as though the whole book world is talking about this book right now, so naturally I needed to find out what was so special about it.

I honestly don’t care about what people say about this audiobook. I think the narrator did a marvelous job. Henry and Alex is super cute and I need a sequel ASAP

The story fails to use the background setting to its advantage. Surely, there’s lots of material to be used when The Royal family is involved. At times, the dialogue makes me cringe. The narrator was good.

Amazing. My only complaint is that the chapters are structured weirdly but the writing is so good I don’t really care. So cute and fun.
