Unabridged Audiobook
The story was fine in and of itself but the writing was a bit of a letdown. The narration was good, no complaints.
I enjoyed it. I did skip a few pages. The first book was excellent and I have listen to it several times. I do love the narrators voice in both book.
The book kept me on track and wasn't confusing. Excellent voice and kept the listener involved in the time changes and places. I look forward to the next set of books.
Enjoyed story and narration
I was so excited for this sequel, and the 1st few hours were okay. But around hour 5 it seemed as though I was listening to an entirely different book. It was so muddled in the middle. It only got worse from there. So wordy. So very very wordy. Puts me in mind of a college essay bc it seemed she was going for word count but sacrificing content. Overly detailed and unnecessarily complex. It was difficult to know who was narrating in certain parts. The last hour was a nice wrap up, and I was truly glad I endured the book. Mostly I was happy it was over.
