Unabridged Audiobook
I read Practical Magic years ago. This novel takes you into the childhood of its main characters, and does not disappoint. The narration was just right. I highly recommend!
Practical magic has been one of my favorite movies. So going back to the Aunts childhood , life, secrets, and history was great! I Finished listening to it in two days . Enjoyed the narrator and the flow of the book. Loved it!
Fun, interesting and different. I loved it
Loved, loved, loved! So funny that I started listening and it didn’t catch my attention at first but I was doing so many things at once and then I decided to give another try and I’m so glad. I loved the book, I couldn’t stop listening. 100% recommend it
It wasn’t terrible but it didn’t have me at the edge of my seat either. Cute story and well read. Easy listen.
It was a good story, a little slow at times but I liked it. l thought the narrator done a good job though.
Loved this book!
To be honest, this book is hard to get through. I'm still listening, but it hasn't been easy. Not nearly as poetic and magical as 'Practical Magic.' I feel this book is typical of Alice Hoffman, who has written a few books that are just amazing but many more duds. The narration isnt great either. No attempt is made to find a distinct voice for different characters. I'm not asking for completely different voices or accents or anything, but at least different characters should stress words differently.
Well told story; narration just right.
Narrator’s voice would vary by volume to the point I had to adjust the volume
