Unabridged Audiobook
Good insight of senior command responsibilities
If you're looking for an easy read that is entraining, this is your book. By easy, I don't mean simple. The book is very written for audiences of all levels. Instead of trying to impress you with his vocabulary, he chooses to entertain you with straight facts containing just enough color to let your mind put you in the scene he's describing. His voice is a perfect narrator for this story. His voice draws into the story with his enduring appreciation for his men, his country, and his family. I hope writes another book.
one of the best books I've read listen to him for hours
One of the best books that I’ve read and listened to. As a fellow 20 year Army Combat retired Veteran, the Admiral is the epitome of leadership!
Amazing book!
A truly amazing story, told by the man who lived it! I enjoyed this book from start to finish!!
Just awesome
Outstanding book and had lots of great information.
Best darn book I've read in years. As the son of a UDT officer and brother to a Navy seal I now understand what they’re service is all about. You’re a good man Adm. Thank you for your service. John Wilson, PhD
I come from a military family and wanted desperately to also serve my country. Alas, growing to manhood in the 60's and being gay percluded any reasonable chance for a career of service. I probably had what it takes. Thankfully times have changed and many an able citizen can now join the ranks of the successful.. Vicariously i enjoyed the quick zip down the admiral's memory lane. _Sea Stories_ was good for entertaining windshield time as I hurtled down the interstate.
Outstanding
