Unabridged Audiobook
Loving the Hymen sisters with their odd quirks that make them relatable and charming. This latest book features Lemon Hymen who has a hypersensitive nose and can smell things a mile away. This story was an absolute delight on audio, entirely narrated by Erin Mallon with Joe Arden narrating the epilogue. Erin Mallon really captured Lemon and Art’s personalities perfectly. Erin nailed the Latvian accent and was believable as a hot Latvian ballet dancer. She did a wonderful job bringing out Lemon’s witty personality and captured her sense of humor perfectly. This book was such a laugh out loud, sweet, sexy and feel good ride from start to finish. Misha Bell doesn’t fail to entertain in her newest installment of the Hymen sisters. I can’t wait for the next book!
Audiobook: Narrated by Erin Mallon and Joe Arden As always, I loved the narration of both of these narrators. Ms. Mallon does a great job of bringing to life the spunky, quirkiness that is Lemon. Art’s voice is only heard in the epilogue, but what a great way to end the book, both the story and the audio. No matter what Mr. Arden does, I’ll listen to it. Each of the Hyman sisters have an issue they live with and for Lemon, that’s smell. While I know there are those who live with such a problem and it’s not a laughing matter, Lemon’s story was filled with plenty of laughter and shenanigans. Of course, her family adds to it as well, as does a furry new pet and even a vacuum. Art was the perfect counterpoint to Lemon as he quickly picked up on her struggles and was eager to set things right if he could. I loved how he helped to expand her sugar tooth in creative ways. He was just as fun as Lemon and sexy as all get out. We don’t have his point of view, but I’m going to believe that he fell fast and hard for her at first sight of her and her sniffing. This is a fast paced with some racy humor and wonderful characters even beyond the hero and heroine. The drama is pretty non-existent until the very end and is then quickly dealt with. Overall, this is a fun read, perfect for a summer indulgence.
This story is part of the Hyman's sisters series. This is Lemon's story. This is another hilarious Romantic Comedy from Misha Bell. I loved Lemon and Art, her Russian Dancer. Their story is sweet. Some scenes are hilarious! The Hyman's family is eccentric, and entertaining! The story is easy to listen to, and enjoyable. Erin Mallon did an excellent job with the narration. I loved the Epilogue read by Joe Arden. I need more!
Once again, we are treated to a laugh out loud romance by Misha Bell. I cannot get enough of this crazy family! This story features Lemon, and no, we can\'t make the first name up! She is a blogger of sorts, with a crush on a Russian ballet dancer. Art. Caught in a compromising circumstance in his Vegas dressing room, Art blackmails her into being his fiance to allow him to get his visa. And our fun begins. Lemon\'s hysterical antics, from her crazy quirk for smells to naming her robovac, I was taken with her. She loves with her whole heart and had me smiling the entire listen. Art is so sweet! From the start of their \"relationship\", he accepts Lemon for every quirk she has, loves her family and fits in easily. The question is, does what happen in Vegas really stay in Vegas? Give this a listen when you need a spicy pick me up! You too will be in love!\r\n\r\nErin Mallon is just so good at telling stories. Her voices for each character, including a chinchilla and dishwasher, are spot on, and her comedic timing is the best! I love her, in everything she does, and this is no exception. Add in Joe Arden as the book wraps up with Art\'s point of view, and we have a winning listen!
Every book about the Hyman sisters is more hilarious than the last. And the situation each sister gets into are more ridiculous and laugh out loud funny. Lemon and Art’s story is no exception and by far the funniest and sexiest too. I find myself laughing and blushing in equal parts throughout this book. And I love that Lemon is a big fan of SATC cuz I am too! Erin Mallon as usual was on point with the funny scenes. However, her accent for Art was not consistent throughout. I don’t mind it too much tho as her male voice is still sexy AF. Joe Arden only narrated the epilogue and his performance of Art with an accent was just superb!
