Unabridged Audiobook
This was a fun romp through the much-beloved characters and plotlines of Master of the Game. Tilly Bagshawe does a great job capturing Sheldons style and fans of Sheldon won't be disappointed by that. Still, this sequel just wasn't as captivating as the original, which remains one of the most addictive books ever put to paper. There were almost no characters to like or to root for, no edge-of-your-seat plotlines, no nailbiting suspense. Much of it was predictable and the main character is as hateful, selfish and appalling as Kate Blackwell with nothing that made Kate interesting. Finally, I think my tolerance of plotlines that constantly let people off the hook because they're rich has reached its limit. The narration was excellent, the reader captured all viewpoints well.
The book was very good. So good that I didnt want to stop listening to it.
