Unabridged Audiobook
Enjoyed from the beginning to the end. I wish there was a sequel.
A very interesting concept of passing generations being the main protagonist of the story spread over a few hundred years.
Excellent character development Great story line Great narration Thoroughly enjoyed it
Great story
Great narrator!! The book was nice and short and enjoyable from start to finish. Binge worthy material
Really enjoyed this book.
great “short” story, interesting and thought provoking
damn this is good, wish I could forget I heard it and listen to it again
Had me hooked from start to finish,, really enjoyed, big build up to the the end then poof ( all done) wish it had a book 2
I found myself getting attached to characters. Free advice: don't do that. Loved the whole story! The narration is great.
I was stunned to find that this book quickly became one of my all time favorites. Does it have a cheesy name? And have I never heard of Tom Goodwin? Yes and yes. But boy did I get my money's worth from this saga. I undoubtedly will read this book again, and I may even listen to this recording a second time on account of its phenomenal narration. 10/10
A good entertaining yarn, well-narrated. Sometimes the best things in life are free!
It was definitely worth the listen. It was hard to follow sometimes and was heart wrenching.
Really really enjoyed this book, everything was very well thought out and made for very believable character and plot development
Awesome listening when on 5 plus hour road trip
The story start ed with lots of technical jargon which, for me, made connecting with the storyline difficult. I would not recommend this story.
Not what I was expecting. Rather predictable but not boring.
“Our women will go with us” The women had babies and died. *eye roll* if you like this narrative, it’s all yours. Did not care for the book. Dreary, no emotional connection to the characters to care if they died, I cared more for the prowlers.
Excellent!
I enjoyed this book, it didn’t however go where I expected…
Great story enjoyed it thoroughly, as usual some pronunciations of normal words felt off to me though I believe that’s due to the difference between American English and “the real thing”. Well worth a listen
Excellent narrating, great story line to listen to
strong storyline, excellent narration
this was a great book. wonderful story. well worth it
Fantastic! Loved how it unfolded. Mark Nelson is so easy to listen to!
I prefer the original title of the novel — The Survivors. I did not like the ending (a little bit too happy), but I enjoyed the book.
This was the first sci-fi book I ever read and I was hooked. I never forgot how it made me feel although title and author dripped out of one of my ears sometime in the late sixties. Over the years I’ve questioned every serious sci-fi fan I met if they recognized the plot line without success. Then earlier this year I was browse-listening to the sci-fi group of LibriVox books and I recognized my old friend, still as good as ever!
Great read! Good flow!
I really enjoyed the story. The narrator took some getting used to, but overall, good science fiction.
I loved it. It was an excellent and entertaining read!
Most interesting.
Excellent and short. 10/10 narrator . If you like space and a story that plays with the idea of evolution listen to this. Free and captivating
this book was great. it kept me very much attatched to my earbuds.
Great book, I was hooked from beginning to end. I wish there was a second!
Don't get attached to any characters, it's a very good story.
A great book. Really holds your intrest. Hard to put down I'm never heard of Tom Godwin but I'm am glad I'm found him.
