I would recommend this book hands down. I have followed the exact same eating program given to me by my trainer at my gym. Also, my trainer has had me follow almost exactly the same exercise plans that Lindsay recommends. I lost 22pounds in 2015 before this book was written so it feels great to know that an Olympic athlete and I share the same eating and exercise plans. Listening to Lindsay's ski injuries cements how when you're asking for the top limit of your body's effort, your strength and nutrition has got to be on target to keep your game up. I'm 57 and have rheumatoid arthritis. In the past because of this disease I have been on a walker, a cane and have had my hip replaced. I have been bed ridden with pain waking up at all hours of the night/morning to need to take a hot bath, 2 Tylenol3 pills and a gin and tonic to quell the pain. I knew I had to get strong to be my pain free self again. My trainers plan in 2015 for me was identical to this book. It works. And I keep it up or else I'd be lame again. Now I can work 7 days a week mucking stalls and caring for my 5 horses and their barn and I am riding again, competing whenever possible. Without this strengthen plan I would be crippled. I have my life back!

She talks too much about her skiing injuries and career. I would not recommend this book for healthy eat plan, nutritional facts, or goal to achieve physically. This is not a clean eating guide as I hoped.
