The Tea Rose

I have read this trilogy and now just listen to this lovely story. I love Jennifer Donnallys work. I have passed this book on to a dozen friends young and older who all love it.

Loved every minute and the narration was excellent. I'm on to the next in the trilogy.

This book was selected for my book club. I didn't think I'd like it. I was drawn into the storyline early on and ended up enjoying it immensely!

Amazing story. I was riveted by the story and couldn't stop listening. Looking forward to the rest of the series.

I wasn’t sure if I was going to like this book at first, but as soon as I was familiar with the characters, I was hooked, well narrated and a great story.

I enjoyed the story of Fiona’s life and all the exciting twists and turns this book has.

Enjoyed the story and tangled plots very much - would make an amazing mini series for tv!! While I understand the need for the sexual scenes, it was just too much. It really did not add to the story. Narrator is outstanding.

It was rather a long book to listen to; however, it did keep my attention. There was too much sexually explicit descriptions of encounters for my taste. the narrator did a good job of keeping accents differentiated except for the protagonist..... which I thought she was too loud and gruff.

I loved this book. Didn’t expect to. Wonderful read and great story line. Loved the characters. I love a happy ending!!

Interesting in the beginning, but the continuous, every-five-minute plot twist eventually became predictable and boring. The repetitive narrative phrasing of the lead characters didn’t help.
