Ehhh… it was ok. Not a fan of the pronoun usage, which I’ll never understand that crap. This book is Dexter, but he was much smarter.

This was well written, it was interesting to follow. I couldn’t wait to keep listening because I couldn’t listen to it all at once. At times, my husband was listening also and he was intrigued. I had to catch him up but he liked it. I’m going to look for other books from this author and I hope there is a number two for this book.

This book didn’t keep my interest at all!

First book that I’ve listened to, in a long time that kept my attention. Held my attention all the way through, was anxious to turn it on as soon as I got in the car.

I really enjoyed this book. It was a fun female Dexter. I hope that there will be a sequel!

This book was sooooo good, thoroughly enjoyed

This one was a 1.5 x speed listen. The book is trying to be Maeve Fly, but it is not even close. It did get better towards the end. And it did have a satisfying conclusion. I had a really hard time understanding WHY the main character was so attached to a best friend who is dumb as a box of rocks. This was my free VIP pick so I'm not mad that I didn't love it. The narrator did a great job.

A lot of humor, a good mystery, and a fine collection of off-beat characters. If you have any interest in high end audiophile nonsense, record collecting insanity (vinyl records in this case) or thrift store shopping, this book is for you. I hit all 3.Just when you are thinking how come I am halfway through this and it has been keeping me laughing, but not much of significance has happened, how is this going to be stretched out and keep my interest and bang! [potential spoiler removed]

So much of the storyline was unnecessary repetition and is what made me rate it 3 stars. If it weren’t for that, I would have rated it 4 stars. The actual story was good and the narrator did a good job too.

Narrator is great. The book is twisted, I guess is good if it is your style, to gruesome.
