Summary
The sequel to "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" finds Alice back in Wonderland and a pawn in a surreal chess game. This weird and wonderful book includes the poems "Jabberwocky" and "The Walrus and the Carpenter," a talking pudding, and that immortal line "Jam yesterday, jam tomorrow, but never jam today." Lewis Carroll was the nom de plume of Charles Dodgson (1832-1890) an Anglican clergyman, photographer, and mathematician.

Most people don’t realise that Alice in wonderland has a sequel, through the looking glass. If you like Alice in wonderland then you’ll love this.

Entertaining and philosophical story. Makes you think. But the narration was a little annoying, especially because after each and every chapter the narrator had to spoil the flow of the story with advertising (this is a such and such recording...etc). That really spoilt it.

This is a very good book but I don't really like the long pauses between the chapters. Through the Looking Glass is a very exciting novel and I enjoyed it very much. I'm sure you will like it too!

Really enjoyed the read/listen. The narrator is brilliant.

The narration here is so characterful! An absolute delight to listen to, and simply allows oneself to withdraw into their childhood and enjoy the lighthearted imaginations of wonderland!

I just love this narrator. I listen to this story nearly every night.

This is a great book

I listened and learned. So ironic that of the fantasy of how to question why is or has dissolved inside this technological age wherein we no longer can appreciate the free flow of imaginations. We are bombarded with cognitive know-how on or in any subject these days. But was that magic potion that she drank a concoction of cherries and magic mushrooms indeed? Now that magic mushrooms are destined to become the new drug for dementia and other mental diseases. Rather avant-garde for Lewis Carroll to develop the formula that the end of the monarchy would arrive when she turned 101 years, 9 months and five days. Obviously mixed up Elisabeth I, with Elisabeth II

The story and the narrator are both great.
