Unabridged Audiobook
I haven’t been able to finish this audio due to fmc narrator. I ‘accepted’ it on book one but hoped for a different tone or inflections since a different character/personality but to no avail, there was no change. I like the books but stoping the audio because I think I’d rather read than listen to these going forward.
Love this whole series
I found myself comparing the second book to the first book. Unfortunately, it is unfair to do that. I was struggling to finish this book. It was more predictable compared to the first book. There were no twists and turns. I also hope the next book doesn't follow the same script as this one and the first book... Both the MFC and MMC have something in common that turns out to be a "twist" near the end of the book. I won't reveal any spoilers but, I'm afraid this will be a common theme in the series. I also found the more explicit scenes to be less creative. I found myself enjoying the political aspect of the book far more. Overall, I think this is a good book to read. It's worth it. I'm just being incredibly picky in this review. I believe this will still be interesting to read for many readers.
Really like this series! Hoping for a 4th about the last friend!
Absolutely LOVE IT
I would also love to have a bodyguard and after sometime he becomes my significant other oh wow
love it to much....
Love the series!
LOVE IT
Loved this one and the bodyguard trope! It was a good read and I enjoyed it! Would definitely recommend this!
This was the first book I've read/listened to by Ana Huang. I loved it. I don't read enough royal romance. It wasn't a totally original storyline, but the writing was well done, the characters were easy to like, and there was a twist I didn't see coming. I didn't want to pause when needed. Aiden Snow and Cindy Kay are excellent narrators. They brought this book to life with emotional performances. Their voice were so easy to listen to. Perfection.
This story was surprisingly enjoyable! I fell in love with Rhys and Bridget’s story. This forbidden bodyguard and princess, hate to lovers romance will keep you intrigued until the end. The sexual tension is a slow buildup until it boils overs into a super steamy romance. This audiobook is narrated by Cindy Kay and Aiden Snow. They did an incredible job bringing Bridget & Rhys to life. I loved Aiden Snow’s voice as Rhys, capturing Rhys deep commanding tone. Cindy Kay as Bridget was great! Ana Huang is a new to me author and this story had me intrigued. So many great characters and the chemistry was intense. I can’t wait to read/listen to more from this author. I’ll definitely have to go back to read Alex & Ava’s story.
Loved listening to tbis audiobook. Thank you to the author and the PR company for allowing me to listen to this. Both Aiden Snow and Cindy Kay brought Rhys and Bridgets character to life for me. I was drawn into Rhys grumpy side and how he saw the flaws in Bridgets cirrent secruity and wanted tonmake it stronger. Of course when wmyou are so use to thibgs you dont see how there are ways of improvement. The banter between them was funny at best. This is an audio I will always get lost in.
A forbidden, slow burn, royal romance. Twisted Games was not dark like Twisted Love, but still very intriguing. Bridget is a princess; Rhys her bodyguard. There is a lot of attraction between the two which they resisted for a long time. Rhys is the only one who can help Bridget with her bucket list experiences. When they could no longer resist the attraction to each other, their chemistry was explosive! But Rhys is a commoner and can't be in a relationship with a monarch. I could feel the angst that went through Bridget when she was told to end things with Rhys. Then comes the plot twist! Thank goodness!!! I loved the characters and the story. Aiden Snow and Cindy Kay brought Rhys and Bridget to life. Their narrating talent gave the characters personalities. I received a complimentary copy of the audiobook at my request and voluntarily left this review.
